Abstract Review Process

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed in a blinded peer review process. All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the meeting. From all accepted abstracts, authors of highly rated abstracts will be invited to deliver oral short talk presentations of their submitted work. If abstract authors do not receive a short talk invitation, then their abstract has not been selected by the abstract review committee. If an abstract is not accepted for poster presentation, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee by contacting congress@cimt.eu. However, if your abstract is accepted but not selected for a short talk presentation, this policy does not apply.

Request for Withdrawal

Once an abstract has been submitted, it may be withdrawn only by written request from the abstract presenter. The request may be sent to congress@cimt.eu and must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference.

Again in 2022, CIMT will honor outstanding poster presentations of junior researchers with the CIMT Poster Awards. At the 2021 virtual CIMT Annual Meeting, CIMT honored seven early-career researchers for outstanding eTalk presentations.
