2. Immunomonitoring: Tracking and characterizing immune responses is crucial to understanding how immune cells and tumors react to therapeutic interventions. Present your insights in this session.
3. New Targets & New Leads: Present your poster in this session if you report on an exciting new target structure, or if you work on the development of innovative lead structures or therapeutic platforms.
4. Cellular Therapies: From T-cell receptor therapy to chimeric antigen receptors – this session is all about cellular therapies, and not only restricted to T cells.
5. Tumor Biology & Interaction with the Immune System:
Choose this session if your aim is to unravel the complexity of the tumor microenvironment and to improve our understanding of the interaction between tumor and immune cells.
6. Novel Tools & Technologies: Have you developed a new tool or technology, be it related to multiplexed imaging or single-cell transcriptomics? In this session, you can present the technology as well as the insights it enables.

Review transparency:
Abstracts will be peer reviewed by a scientific committee. Abstracts will be rejected if they are out of scope of the meeting, i.e., not related to cancer immunology/immunotherapy, if they are purely commercial, or if scientific standards are obviously violated.

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the meeting. From all accepted abstracts, authors of highly rated abstracts will be invited to deliver oral short talk presentations of their submitted work.

Request for withdrawal:
Once an abstract has been submitted, it may be withdrawn only by written request from the abstract presenter. The request may be sent to congress[at] and must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference.

If an abstract is rejected for poster presentation, a full refund of the registration fee can be requested by contacting congress[at] However, if your abstract is accepted but not selected for a short talk presentation, this policy does not apply.

Abstract publication:
All conference abstracts will be published on this webseite and on the conference app on May 13.

Presenting your research at the CIMT Annual Meeting:
A remarkable one third of our delegates submit abstracts, and through a meticulous blind evaluation by our abstract review committee, 10% of all submissions are chosen for short talk presentation ensuring the most innovative and impactful research is showcased.

Our poster exhibit is a testament to the ingenuity and diligence of researchers from over 35 nations, providing a dynamic platform for the presentation of fresh, unpublished data and sparking inspiring dialogues during these lively sessions.

Early-career researchers are not only given a voice, but they are also celebrated—our poster awards, distributed in six categories, are determined by a dedicated prize committee who actively engage with the exhibits. Winning an award at the CIMT Annual Meeting is not just an honor; it's a potent career accelerator, spotlighting the awardees in a forum of
international repute and potential future collaborations.

Again in 2023, CIMT honored outstanding poster presentations of junior researchers with the CIMT Poster Awards.
